Ferriswheel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., a Mumbai-based agency specialising in conceptualising, producing and directing live events, has brought Worldfest to Lavasa city. Starting today (December 17) the five day fest continues till December 21, 2014. The Festival brings together performers from ten countries, exhibiting a concoction of country-specific arts, culture, dance, music, and cuisine. The Worldfest 2014 edition will witness participation of like Brazil, Egypt, Ethiopia, Lithuania, Maldives, Nigeria, Poland, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
The Festival marks the confluence of cultures and the serene and picturesque environs of Lavasa city are set to make for a perfect backdrop for this cultural convergence of various countries from the world. On first day of Worldfest Team Slovenia created magic with the violin, accordion, clarinet, button accordion & double bass while Poland’s dance performances – BESKID, KRAKOWIAK & TROJAK were a perfect display of their culture.
