Waterfalls are one of the most fascinating creations of the nature. Talking about great waterfalls is not just about being majestic. Its also about the sheer beauty that mesmerises. So even a waterfall not much high or not much broad or not so majestic might be among the most beautiful. That’s the reason why a column of water falling right from the top of the Ellora caves at Aurangabad in Maharashtra has been termed as one of the most wonderful waterfall in the world by TripAdvisor users.

Henceforth in the list of top 10 most wonderful waterfalls in the world Ellora Caves waterfall ranks 5th. On top of the list is indeed Victoria Falls in Africa which has world’s largest sheet of falling water. This waterfall which forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe is most spectacular.

Second in the list is Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia which often many travellers count in one of the most beautiful places on planet and some among the places one should see before dying.

Third in the list is Multnomah Falls on Columbia River gorge in Oregon in US, a picture-perfect beautiful two step falls. Next is Angel Falls in Canaima National Park, Venezuela which being world’s highest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 979 metres and a plunge of 807 metres is a sheer wonder.

Seventh is Estancia Mimosa Ecoturismo in State of Mato Grosso do Sul, in Brazil which has many small waterfalls in close proximity forming amazing pools, each of them more beautiful than other.

Havasu Falls in Arizona, US is eighth. Havasu Falls is called by admirers as paradise on Earth. It is an incredible waterfall located in the Grand Canyon, Arizona. Even though it’s not easy to hike there.

Only other waterfall from Asia is Detian Waterfall in Daxin County, China. Seemingly similar to Croatia’s Plitvice Lakes National Park, Detian Falls is a collective name for two waterfalls on the Quây Sơn River, that straddle the international border between China and Vietnam.
