Interested in discovering Brussels and its museums and getting a great deal as well? The Brussels
Card now offers benefits worth over ! 200! All you need is one card: just show it at the museum entrance
or scan it on the bus, tram or metro. Ideal if you’re spending a day or a weekend in Brussels. And it’s really
practical too!
This essential pass gives you free admission to no fewer than 32 Brussels museums for a period of
24, 48 or 72 hours. It covers all the major museums: the Magritte Museum, the Belgian Comic Strip Centre,
the Old Masters Museum, the Museum of Natural Sciences, the Museum of Musical Instruments, the
Cinquantenaire Museum and the Museum of the City of Brussels to name just a few. The pass allows free
admission to all the exhibitions held at BOZAR, Wiels and the Botanique as well. In addition to the museums,
the Brussels Card also offers a wonderful range of discounts in the capital’s restaurants, shops and
tourist attractions. Lastly, cardholders can enjoy free public transport while their card is valid.
New in 2013
This year (1 June 2013 to 1 June 2014) even more benefits come from having the Brussels Card! Two new
museums are being added to the already long list of museums which are free when you present your card:
the Museum of Cocoa and Chocolate, just round the corner from the Grand-Place (sampling of their wares
included in your tour!) and the Belgian Museum of Freemasonry which has moved into a beautiful old
building following recent renovation work.
Extra discounts are now also available. From June 2013, the Brussels Card entitles you to benefits from
eight new partners. You can now see the panoramic view from the Koekelberg Basilica for ! 3 instead of ! 5.
The famous Brüsel comic strip shop is offering 10% off all purchases. There is 20% and 10% off respectively
at Blender01 (design and original gifts) and the Fabuleux Marcel de Bruxelles (vintage fashion) while the
recently opened Hard Rock Café is giving away an exclusive gift. Lovers of authentic Brussels cuisine have
two new places to visit: the ’t Kelderke restaurant on the Grand-Place offers a free dessert with lunch, while
the famous Moeder Lambic café serves a plate of Brussels tapas when you buy two beers. Lastly, Brussels
Card holders will also receive a discount of ! 6 on a guided tour to the city of Bruges or ! 7 when combined
with the tour of Ghent.
