In winter 2014-2015 St. Moritz and the Engadin are celebrating 150 years of winter tourism. From 5 to 7 December 2014 St. Moritz will be popping the champagne corks for the anniversary celebrations marking 150 years of winter tourism. Throughout the winter season numerous events will highlight the Upper Engadin’s long-standing tradition of winter tourism. Other highlights include a range of new infrastructure in the skiing areas, top-class events on the frozen lake, and the Hotel & Ski Pass Offer. In a few weeks’ time it will be all systems go! "Premium Europe" chose Davos Klosters as the best ski resort in the Alps. A total of seven destinations were examined and listed in the "Definitive Guide to the Alps". The destination leaves 6 more areas in the ranking behind. Premium Europe is an online luxury travel agency, which publishes the Alpine Guide 2014/15. In the current issue, the seven most beautiful winter sports resorts of the Alps are listed. The Destination Davos Klosters achieved the first place and thus is considered the best ski resort in the Alps.
