Ladakh is certainly on my travel list. Is the accommodation expensive there?

Well this particular one surely is expensive. But then you have lot more to choose from in Ladakh. It also depends on where you stay in Ladakh- Leh or elsewhere. There are plenty of homestay options and budget hotels which are not that heavy on pocket.
