One might be a frequent flier but it is always a new sight whenever you are up in the air- looking down. Whether you are above the concrete jungles of NCR or Pir-Panjal mountains of Kashmir or over Arabian Sea in Goa- its fascinating everytime.
Actually lure of capturing images from window seat during flight pre-occupies my mind so much that I make all effort to choose a window seat during web check-in. Do you do that?
Not just that, I always keep in mind the time and direction of the flight (northwards, southwards or whatever) as well so that I am aware of the fact that whether sun will be shining towards my window during the flight and also that to which side of the flight will be anything worth taking a photo falling. That means, while going to Lucknow fro Delhi, I will always like to have a window seat in the A row as I will have a chance to see some peaks on my left in a clear sky.
Similarly, while going to Goa from Delhi, I will try to get a window seat on the right side to have a chance to look upon the Arabian sea and Goa’s seashore just minutes before landing. That’s what I did the last time to click some of these pictures.
This trip was meant for test-driving TATA Motors’ new car ZICA at beautiful Majorda in South Goa. The event was put up together by Indiblogger and we were hosted at Alila Diwa. This is the last post related to the trip. Earlier posts were related to reviews of the car- its features and performance. There was also a post about some striking images through this recent trip to Goa.
Well normally I will keep my camera in my hand baggage so that I can click the images during flight. But, for a change all these images were clicked through my ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser smartphone. Some images of the tiny islands close to shore-

Goa’s Dabolim airport is very close to sea. So much that actually when you are on a window seat on the right side overlooking sea and plane starts descending than until almost couple of seconds before touch-down you will feel as if it is going to land on the seabed. Its thrilling. See the image, just before touch-down.
But Dabolim airport is under Indian Navy’s control. Hence you are not allowed to take images of the airport. Do take care of the rules. But Goa calls you, isn’t it?
It’s a lucky day when you don’t get much haze. A clear day like you seem to have got happens only in winter. Good photos.
